3 cups of milk (Higher fat content tastes better, use 2% if possible)
1 cup of half & half
Alcohol is optional (brandy, kahlua, Irish cream or cognac)
1/4 Teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of cream (optional)
1/2 cup of sugar
You can garnish with cinnamon or nutmeg if desired
