How To Fix Chipped Porcelain |

Do you have a bathtub or porcelain sink that has a chip in it? Thankfully there is a product called "Chip Fix" that can be used to fix these minor imperfections. This product is an epoxy that comes packaged in two little tubes, part A and part B. Both parts of the solution must be mixed together to create teh epoxy coating. Usually this product comes in white and almond colors.
Preparation
Clean the damaged area with soap and water, rinse and let dry.
Materials Needed
Soap, water, touch-up glaze kit (includes sandpaper), soft cloth.
Steps
- Clean the damaged area with soap and water, rinse and let dry.
- Throughly mix the touch-up glaze and dab onto the damaged area with the provided applicator brush, repeat until the damaged area is filled. Let dry 24 hours between coats.
- Lightly sand the area smooth using the sandpaper provided in the kit and buff with a soft cloth.
