After a paint job is done it is inevitable that some of it will end up on your hands and arms.  The longer that the paint remains on the skin the harder it will be to remove it.  Latex paints can be cleaned off using soap and water, while oil-based paints may require a strong hand cleaner such as lava soap or DL Hand cleaner.  

However, one cleaner has worked better than others at breaking down paints, grease and tar from the skin.  It is actually a carpet stain remover that will remove oil-based paint and latex paint from carpet.  It will also remove wine, lipstick, nail polish and many other things from carpet, clothing and skin.
